St. John Francis Regis Mental Health Ministry

St. Regis, in partnership with Catholic Charities, is bringing a Catholic Mental Health Ministry to our parish. The ministry will begin with some educational events about various mental health topics, as well as holding small group meetings for those struggling with
mental health and their loved ones.

Thank you to all who attended the April 4 information session and the May kickoff session. If you are interested in
attending any events or volunteering for this ministry, please fill out the form below. Note that you do not need to register for the small groups, as they are entirely anonymous.
This is a much-needed ministry in our society, and we hope to serve those who are suffering, break the stigma surrounding mental health, and become a more inclusive community.

Small Groups

Every other Tuesday, starting June 27, 2023 at 7pm

Through ARC, we believe that faith and spirituality are important factors in the addiction recovery process. Scripture, prayer, and faith-focused support can help fortify your victory against the demons of any addiction, especially drugs and alcoholism. Faith strengthens the journey of recovery, helping those to develop spiritual and emotional tools of sobriety. This is a non-treatment support group for adults.

No need to register, ARC is anonymous.

Are you struggling with mental health issues? Join our support group!

June 22-August 10 7-9pm in Mary’s Room.

A new prayer support group is being formed to pray for all of our children, grandchildren, and other family members who have left the church. It is called “Monica's Moms” (after St. Monica) and will meet the first Thursday of every month in St Joseph's room after mass and rosary. Everyone is invited to write the names of all their fallen away Catholic family members in our book, and each one will be prayed for by the group. Come join us for the first meeting, Thursday July 6th, at 9:30 AM in Saint Joseph's room. For more information, contact Esmeralda in the office, or Connie Wood.
