Endowment Trust Fund for Catholic Education

If any Catholic school is going to exist into the next century it must have a healthy endowment fund to support it!

Our Lady of Lourdes has an established endowment fund to provide a continuing source of revenue and support for the grade school and other religious education at Lourdes. The interest is used to help offset school expenses and supports programs that help instill sound core values in the youth participating and help adults reinforce their beliefs. The fund principal remains intact and continues earning interest. Gifts of cash, life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, stocks, bonds and real estate would be appreciated. All gifts are tax deductible.

This fund is independently managed by the Trust Department of the United Missouri Bank. Contributions remain in the fund as an income producing investment with the investment income from the fund distributed to support the programs noted above.

A donation may be made directly to Our Lady of Lourdes School for this purpose by sending it to the parish and noting that it is for the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Endowment Trust Fund for Religious Education.

The correct legal language for bequests is:

To the "Endowment Trust Fund for Catholic Education, 300 East 36th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64111-1410, for the specific purpose of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish - Raytown, MO Endowment Trust Fund for Religious Education."
